Takumi is a sustainable denim brand that focuses on recycling and up-cycling through repair and alteration. We push to fight waste, unethical denim process, aid sustainability, encourage denim buyers to purchase less, and preserve the relationship between customers and their denim. At the same time, honor the process of Japanese denim making and American denim history.
Approach
Takumi means attention to detail and craftsmanship in Japanese. By offering alteration, repair, and a place to buy denim all in one, the website had to be easily accessible & navigational for the user. The site includes helpful information for users to learn about the process and understand what they are investing in. Making a seamless shopping and learning experience.
